Teaching Assistant - Graduate - Secondary School

I am currently looking to meet and register Graduates who are looking for a teaching assistant position this academic year. The schools I work with are looking for the following;

Graduates with a passion to pursue a career in teaching

Minimum of 1 years' experience supporting students in any capacity

Knowledge of SEN is desirable

Available for the full academic year, full time, 5 days a week.

This Teaching Assistant position needs a Graduate who can dedicate themselves to a full academic year. The Teaching Assistant will be working cross curricular with multiple pupils on a 1:1 basis to ensure that they are working to their educational best. Therefore, it is important that a Graduate who is supportive, adaptable and ambitious applies for this position.

This post offers a unique opportunity for an aspiring teacher to gain exposure within a whole school setting. As the Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for pupils and your duties will include but are not limited to: planning and preparing resources and lessons, working with small groups of selected students, supervising break and lunch times and providing constructive feedback to pupils. No previous school experience necessary.
