Are you considering a rewarding career working with SEN students?

Are you a recent Psychology graduate with previous experience of working with pupils with additional needs?

Do you want to build on this experience and develop your skills with the support of an inspirational SENCO?

Would an exciting Learning Support Assistant position be of interest?

The support and training in this Southwark Secondary School is unrivalled and there are a number of roles on offer for the right calibre of graduate, both as a Learning Support Assistant or that of a behavioural mentor.

*** Learning support Assistant post available ASAP

*** Acknowledged SEN secondary located in Southwark

*** Learning support Assistant

*** Great training and support on offer

*** Perfect experience for future Education psychologists

In this Learning support Assistant role, you must be a willing and motivated graduate who has a positive approach to problems. Experience, whether that be voluntary or paid, would be ideal with a SEN background. If you lack experience but instead you have a real passion for supporting challenging students, ensuring they have the best possible start in life, then you too are a strong candidate. The school wants graduates who can quickly establish strong relationships and bring an abundant supply of enthusiasm.

To be successful in this teaching assistant role you must be supportive, caring and have the ability to positively engage the student(s) you will be working with. We want to see graduates with the ambition to become Educational Psychologists, Child Psychologists or teachers, keen to build relevant experience in a paid teaching assistant role providing support for children who have autism and communication difficulties.

You will be working mainly on a one-on-one basis providing support for a child who has autism and communication difficulties. You will need to display a motivational, engaging and patient manner throughout this role and be proactive to ensure the students are fully supported.

This SEN Teaching Assistant position is an exceptional opportunity to advance your career and make a difference to a great community in Hackney. Send your CV over to Carly Walters at Remedy Education.
