Graduate LSA - The Role

You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEN within school to make sure that they are on track for their individual progress targets and goals set out by the SENCo. You will have the opportunity to create and implement your own strategies in order to try to get the best out of your students to help them get to where they need to be. You will use your specialist subject knowledge to assist the class Teachers in how to get the best out of the students. There will be elements of your role that will include liaising with members of the SLT to report on the progress of your students and how are they generally getting on in school.

Graduate LSA - The Requirements

Minimum 2:1 in a field of Psychology (various disciplines welcomed)
Good A-Levels
Prior experience working with young people will be essential
Resilient and reliable
Determination and a high motivation to work with SEN pupils and to make a positive difference
