Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for a Family Support Worker for a Local Authority in South London.

Job Purpose

The focus of this role is to work intensively and in partnership with children, families/carers and the multi-agency professional network to promote children's welfare and help families to achieve the best outcomes possible for their children and young people. The role includes holding a caseload, intensive direct work with children, young people and their families, within their homes and community to address a range of issues which impact on family life and functioning, such as parental ability, substance misuse, domestic violence and environmental factors such as poverty and housing The role also involves dealing with partner agencies to ensure that children and their families are well supported across relevant agencies.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered

Eligible to work in the UK
