Job description
A wonderful Primary school based in the desirable location of Tunbridge Wells is looking to recruit an Early Years (EYFS) Teaching Assistant starting ASAP
Some experience and knowledge of EYFS / SEN / Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is desirable, but not essential.
If you are a graduate with aspirations of becoming an EYFS Primary School Teacher, this could be the ideal opportunity for you to gain priceless classroom-based experienced. By working closely with the class teacher, you will be able to see how a classroom works on a day to day basis. This will allow you to gain invaluable insight into what it's really like to teach in a diverse and lively Primary School environment. The Role :
A wonderful and inclusive Primary School is looking to recruit an ambitious Teaching Assistant to help with lead the Nursery/Reception children. You will work with the class teacher to successfully deliver the lesson objectives, so a leaning towards playful learning and creativity would be advantageous.
Some small group and 1:1 interaction will be required, particularly with SEN children.

Working within a lively Primary School environment requires organisation, focus and a real passion for the role. You will need to be caring, approachable and able build trust and rapport with the children, your colleagues and the parents alike.
A strong academic background is desirable as is an ambitious outlook towards a long-term career in education. Above all, you will need to be a real team-player, have a great work ethic and possess the ability to be adaptable and effective within the classroom environment.
