To be considered for this EYFS Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following-
*1st or 2-1 degree - Russell Group (preferable) in a psychology / core subject
*A passion to support others
  • Prior school, education or tutoring experience would be preferred
  • EYFS, Early Years’ experience would be desirable
  • Strong behaviour management

This thriving primary school are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support the learning of children in EYFS. The TA will work with individuals or groups of children, supervising their physical/general care, enabling their access to learning and assisting the class teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

As a successful EYFS teaching assistant you would need to be a graduate who has achieved a 2-1 or better in psychology or a core subject area. Previous experience working with EYFS children would be preferable.

Forming meaningful relationships with others and engaging with both pupils and other staff members are vital ingredients to make this EYFS teaching assistant role work.
