We are currently recruiting for English and ESOL tutors for alternative education provisions. Teaching key stages 1-4 to local students who have either been excluded, home educated, young offenders, teen parents, those with medical needs, those with challenging behaviour as well as a range of SEND and SEMH students.

Successful candidates should be confident and inspiring and committed to helping students achieve their maximum potential.

You should ideally have:

* Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum

* An enhanced DBS (ideally on the update service)

* At least 2 years teaching or tuition experience in the UK

Working on a case-by-case basis, teachers should be able to work autonomously, assess student's levels and plan lessons accordingly. You should also be comfortable teaching in a range of environments such as in a student's home or local library.
