An Early Years Teacher is required to work within a preschool based in Southwark, to assist the Manager and Deputy Manager in the effective management of the nursery and to take responsibility for the setting in the event of the Manager/Deputy Manager being absent.

This is a full time post, Monday to Friday and will be long term

Responsibilities and Duties

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with the preschool age group, and thrives on taking a lead role in developing and delivering a teaching plan for all preschool children that promotes school readiness and creates positive outcomes for all children.

The successful candidate will show competence in creating a child-focused and caring environment where each child's needs are identified and addressed. They will possess skills in monitoring children's progress and ensuring plans and next steps are achievable within the EYFS framework.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants must hold a relevant degree, QTS and experience of working within a nursery setting.
