The pre-birth pod consists of assessing expectant mothers and their partners, up until the baby's first birthday. The role will involve working alongside key professionals namely Family Nurse Partnership, Midwifery, Hospitals and the Perinatal team to name a few.

This fantastic role will enable a worker to develop their social work knowledge and skills in completing child and family assessments on unborn babies, initial CP, CIN and LAC procedures and initiating care proceedings.
