Working as a teaching assistant is a great way to gain invaluable school based experience that will stand you in good stead for when you begin teacher training. Each year this excellent secondary school looks to take on a small number of graduates who are eager to develop their experience in a school setting ahead of commencing teacher training.

As an EAL teaching assistant you will be working under the guidance of an experienced EAL department and will work closely with students ona one to one basis and also small groups. You will be working with students from years 7 - 11 in a wide range of subject areas giving you the opportunity to gain a real insight into secondary school teaching.

This excellent South East London School are looking to interview talented EAL Teaching assistants who have some form of recent experience with young people and can commit to this school on a full time basis.
