Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an Interim Director for Wiltshire Councils Highways and Transport Division.

Job Specifics

The role is full-time based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire with the flexibility of some homeworking. A laptop/equipment will be provided.

We require the post holder to be someone who has evidenced experience and/or is operating at a Director level within Highways and Transport. And ideally, hold professional memberships for CIHT and Institute of Civil Engineers. In this high-profile position, the post holder will support and deliver our ambitious programme of change, working closely with senior leaders, elected Members, and partners to ensure that service structures are developed based on customer/resident needs and that services are developed and delivered to meet emerging and revised council priorities and re-defined customer expectations. We are looking for an individual with the commitment and ambition to lead and develop our efforts to ensure service planning is shaped by and takes into account the council's key strategic plans and manage service performance through the accountability of your senior management team, allocation of resources, management of risks, and strong, inspirational leadership.
