Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced LADO (Local Authority Designated Officer) to work within Camden Council.

Job Purpose

To take operational responsibility for the LADO, chair child protection conferences and subsequent areas of development work, ensuring delivery of high quality, inclusive services, responsive to the needs of service users and the wider community and that address the safeguarding needs of children and young people in Camden;

• Maintenance of high service and professional standards;
• Effective management of resources;
• Delivery in line with Council, Directorate and Service strategies, plans and policies; and
• Compliance with relevant legislation, as well as good practice standards set down by the Council.

You will need to be:

• SWE registered
• Eligible to work in the UK
