Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Deputy Team Manager to wokr within a ECIRS/MASH service for a Ealing Council.

Job Purpose

ECIRS is our front door service being the first point of entry for anyone worried about children in Ealing and incorporates a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) service.

ECIRS/MASH offers an innovation service. The deputy managers will assist the team manager in leading a social work team whilst working in conjunction with partner agencies, Police, Public protection, Housing, Early Help, Probation and health to determine and deliver the most appropriate level of intervention and support.

ECIRS is a Multi-Agency Team, co-located with a Health Visitor and Police Protection Desk. The team is under review and will be engaged in a new phase in its development and will need Deputy Team managers who are innovative, creative and not afraid to work in a demanding and challenging environment.

You will assist the Team Manager in managing the provision of a high quality, cost effective and efficient social work service to children and their families and will also ensure the delivery of the service is within agreed strategic, operational and financial priorities and that it is in accordance with statutory responsibilities, policies and procedures.

You will manage up to five members of staff who will include senior social workers, Social Workers and Family Support Workers. Included in this will be newly qualified Social workers undertaking the ASYE programme.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
