Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Deputy Service Manager to work within a Referral and Assessment Team for a Local Authority based in South West London.

Job Purpose

• To deputise for the Service Manager when required and to support the Service Manager in carrying out any of their duties as above jointly with Service Manager or which are delegated
• Work with the Service Manager to QA team's work and address all quality/performance difficulties, ensuring supervision and QA mechanisms operate robustly to proactively monitor risk and support and intervention plans.
• To use business reports and QA systems proactively to manage performance, deficiencies or risks, including sampling data/information systems
• To supervise individual workers including Senior Practitioners, social workers, support staff and other specialist posts (e.g. housing and education posts depending on team) in line with supervision policy
• To attend meetings, court, etc when required to support Social Workers and Social Work Support Officers

About you

• Experience of managing a team of social workers
• HCPC registration
• Enhanced DBS
• Full compliance
