Cornwall, Qualified Social Worker, Children with Disabilities
Remedy Social Care team are looking for 2 qualified social workers to join the Disabled Children's Therapy Service in Cornwall to cover whilst recruiting permanently to the role.
The post is for an immediate start for an initial 3-month period with a possibility of being reviewed for extension.
Accommodation and Travel expenses are available subject to negotiation
Main duties include:
- Undertake assessments and general social work tasks.
- Provide reports for departmental meetings, LAC Reviews, CP Case Conferences, Legal Meetings, Permanence Planning Meetings and Court Hearings and attend these as required.
- Work directly with children and their families, foster carers and permanent alternative carers to ensure the best interests of children are met.
Essential requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Registration with Social Work England with ASYE complete
- Must be able to travel with you own transport
- IT literate
