Job description

An opening within outstanding hearing impaired school based in Wandsworth has arisen for Communication Support Workers / CSW.

This is a highly rewarding post working with deaf students as a Communication Support Worker / CSW, offering support to small classes of 4 to 5. The successful candidate will have worked within an education setting within a support role, with a minimum of BSL Level 2.

Working in this environment requires a passionate and nurturing individual who has the ability to support communication effectively between student and Teacher. It will also be beneficial to have strong behaviour management skills and able to support young people through emotional difficulties and communication difficulties. Someone with a background in psychology or have worked with children with mental health difficulties, may also be interested in this vacancy.
