Surveyor with relevant experience in Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 experience. Role is a property management surveyor, working with the commercial portfolio. To optimise and manage the Council's operational and investment property assets; to include Landlord and Tenants negotiations, rent reviews, acquisitions and disposals of property, surveys, valuations and the preparation of financial estimates and any related project work.
To manage and maintain an up to date property asset register. This will include the review of assets, future options appraisals, developing business cases, through to advertising opportunities and evaluating submissions.
This role involves project delivery and all post holders will be expected to cover a range of duties as indicated in the Accountabilities section below.
The creation and delivery of strategies, programmes and projects for the Council's Operational and Investment Property Portfolios, to optimise and manage the Council's operational and investment. property assets; to include:
Landlord and Tenants negotiations.
Acquisitions and disposals of property.
Surveys, valuations and the preparation of financial estimates.
Preparation of marketing packs and due diligence (EPCs, surveys etc).
Project planning, management and implementation.
Preparation of specifications and business plans for projects and procurements of goods/services.
