Commercial Manager

You'll work closely with existing contract managers, our procurement team and others across Sovereign to support tenders, manage performance of property related contracts and build strong relationships with existing strategic suppliers. To be successful in this role you'll have significant experience of developing and implementing strategies within a Procurement and/or contract management environment. You will be used to working collaboratively to achieve operational objectives in a fast paced, changing environment and with a commercially focused mind-set, you will proactively challenge the business process and lead change.

This is a key management role within Commercial Management in which you'll take responsibility for the delivery of the property procurement strategy, associated wave plan of contracts due for tender and resulting sourcing activities. Awareness of purchasing strategies and contract law would be beneficial but is not a necessity.
