Our client Manchester city council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Court & locality team.

The position is for a social worker within the court & locality service to work with children who are subject to CIN, CP, pre-proceedings, court proceedings. The candidate will be based within a team of 2 advanced Practitioners and 4 social workers, all managed by an experienced team manager.

The candidate will be provided with regular supervision and access to training alongside their peers. Caseloads are manageable with support from advanced practitioners, team manager and a social work consultant. A weekly service wide learning morning is held to support with discrete areas of practice and sharing of good practice.

The post is office based as this promotes team identify and team support but home working can be agreed by the team manager for specific pieces of work.
