Our client is looking for an experienced commissioner of children's social care services. This will include services for looked after children, carer leavers, children in need of protection, and children with special education needs and disabilities. You need to have strong skills across the commissioning cycle and able to work collaboratively with both children and professionals.

You will have experience of strategic planning and project management. You will have an in-depth understanding of legislation and best practice in social care. You will be responsible for the analysis of needs and costs, options appraisals and pathways for delivering services.
