Job Responsibilities Child Protection minute taker:

• To set up and co-ordinate Child Protection conferences, including taking referrals, managing diaries for those meetings, organising room bookings, inviting attendees.

• Liaising with Social Workers, Team Managers and Service Managers to ensure that the relevant paperwork is available for conferences in a timely manner

• To provide confidential and detailed minutes for the meetings contained within the Child Protection Conferencing System to a high standard, and maintaining appropriate confidentiality

• Transcribe meeting outcomes and minutes within statutory timescales

• To be proficient in using database applications; maintain the client database (LCS), child death database and CP Plan Monitoring database and provide statistical information as required to the Senior Management Team

• To deal with telephone, correspondence, and face to face enquires from, service users and others

• To maintain filing systems and electronic systems with high regard to the confidential and statutory nature of the subject matter

• Child Protection minute taking experience
