Job description

Learning Support Assistant - Enfield, North West London

Located in Enfield, this supportive alternative provision is currently looking to find a supportive, positive and hardworking Learning Support Assistant to its successful and tight-knit team.

The school is for students who have been excluded from mainstream school.

  • Learning Support Assistant
  • Specialist Behaviour Mentor
  • Drama graduate or Performing Arts graduate
  • Ongoing, long term supply
  • Challenging and rewarding position
  • Starting immediately
  • £80-£90 per day

To be successful in your application for Learning Support Assistant you must be an industrious graduate who has already spent time in a role where you worked closely with children and at least received a 2:1 in your degree. You must either have a Performing Arts or Drama degree and be interested in using these skills with hard to reach and challenging students.

This Learning Support Assistant position involves contributing to the planning and participation of the extensive range of after school clubs available to the pupils. To give pupils the support they need, the school assigns them 1:1 mentor, and this will form an important part of your role.
