Remedy Education are currently working with a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Redbridge who are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their growing team this April. The position is to work with an Autistic child in Reception with speech and language needs as well as associated behavioural difficulties.

About the role

You will support a pupil on a 1:1 basis. You will participate in Speech and Language intervention plans given by the school's Speech and Language Therapist. The child displays some challenging behaviour so is in need of someone who is constantly on their toes. You will be working with the student within a mainstream classroom however, you may at times take the student to a quieter work space when needed.

Requirements

For the position, you must have experience working with children with autism. You will also be available to work Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm.

Salary and Benefits

£80 - 90 per day
