An opportunity has arisen with our client in South West London. They are looking for an Assistant Team Manager to join their community reablement Occupational Therapy team.

The post holder will assist and contribute to manage performance, quality assurance, resources and budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders. The post holder will contribute and support the development of practice, procedures and policies specifically the professional development of the team they lead/manage. The post holder will be knowledgeable about management within the public sector, within the Council, Social Care, Housing, Education, Health and non-statutory sectors and of the relevant multidisciplinary professional groups, social work, occupational therapists and nursing. The post holder will be accountable for the professional practice of their team members and other professionals and assist in providing effective supervision, mentoring and coaching to enhance the quality of practice, undertake performance appraisals and investigate complaints.
