Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Advanced Social Worker to work within an Assessment Team for a Local Authority based in East London.

Job Purpose

• To progress plans for children appropriately and in accordance with supervisory and management instructions and with regard to budgetary cost.
• To attend supervision, training and appraisal sessions as required.
• To contribute to a personal development plan and to strive to improve knowledge and practice as a social work professional.
• To act in a way that protects the reputation of the Local Authority and the social work profession, whilst always privileging the best interests of children.
• To immediately alert the Practice Leader and Service Manager to any issues that may leave children at risk.
• To undertake other duties within the competence of the post holder that may be required from time to time.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
