Job description
Remedy Social Care team are working with Northamptonshire County Council to recruit a qualified social worker to work within the Hospital Assessment Team.
This is a Locum position to start immediately for 3 months.
You will be based in Northamptonshire. Known as the "rose of the shires" Northamptonshire boasts a weath of historic sites, including Kirby Hall and Deene Park
Your main duties will include:
• To contribute to development of organisational capability by taking ownership of your own training and development
• To work as part of project or process teams as required under the new operating model
• To assess, review and provide help to an individual, family or carer with complex family or social care needs
• To carry out an assessment or enquiry and plan responses with an adult, or their representative or advocate if they lack mental capacity.
• To intervene and provide help to an individual or family whose complex family or social care needs or risks indicate that they need ongoing professional support which they might not normally be willing to accept.
• To enable vulnerable adults who have been abused or neglected to improve their circumstances, where it is unclear whether the person lacks mental capacity to make decisions.
Essential requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Social Work or equivalent qualification
• HCPC registration
• At least 18 months experience working within an Adult Social Work team as a Qualified Social Worker
• Driving licence with own car
