1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant | Lambeth | ASAP start

Are you a graduate holder in a primary-based subject?

Do you want to take up a new and exciting opportunity in a mainstream school in Lambeth, working 1:1 with a young girl in Year 2. The student is very low complex needs and you will be assisting with personal care.


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive provision in Lambeth!

***1:1 Teaching Assistant required for full-time role in Lambeth
***Experience supporting children essential for this role
***1:1 Teaching Assistant required for SEN-based role - KS2 pupil with additional needs
***Must have a minimum of a 2:1 degree!
***Long-term, full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant role lasting the full academic year

The 1:1 Teaching Assistant specification:
>Minimum 2:1 degree with demonstrable theoretical knowledge of relevant position
>Experience in a similar role or working within vulnerable individuals essential
>Highly resilient with excellent personality.

Responsibilities of the 1:1 Teaching Assistant

>Work 1:1 with key pupils in all their lessons and take them out for individual based support
>Create and maintain a safe, positive learning environment
>Prepare learning materials and assist in creating a stimulating environment
>Work with pupils with a range of complex disabilities, adjusting to their needs.
>Ensure the emotional and physical well-being of the child is protected
