London SELearning Support Assistant - September Start – Permanent
Remedy Education wish to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work on a permanent basis from September, supporting a range of students with educational needs across KS 3 & 4.
This Technology College that is based in the heart of London Docklands, with a specialist in Digital Media require an LSA to support a small group of students in both numeracy and Literacy.
The work would be varied and could involve 1:1 and small class support (Level 1-3 Students) to withdrawal groups to carry out a variety of programmes overseen by relevant professionals. You would be supporting children with a range of difficulties including dyslexia, autism, speech and language difficulties and emotional and/or behavioural difficulties.
Excellent numeracy, literacy and ICT skills are a must. Working knowledge of any of the following or any other Reading Software would be advantageous (Lexia, Accelerated Reader or Education City).
Previous experience of working in a school and relevant experience and training, in Teaching and Learning would be beneficial although not essential.
