This webinar is designed to provide social work professionals with the basic tenets of constructing a professional analysis to summise the rationale behind recommendations put forward to review boards, panels and the courts. The course begins with clearly defining and deconstructing critical thinking as the foundation of formulating professional analysis. The importance of reflective practice, social & developmental theory, and legislative knowledge is highlighted against information sourced from interviews, reports and observations. RISK MANAGEMENT IN CHILD PROTECTION
Risk management is the responsibility of everyone. This course guides professionals through the use of a risk management framework which provides guidance on identification, assessment and management of risk, inaddition to various tools for recognising early warning signs, components of risk management and contingency plans.
