Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • The Housing Solutions Team Manager will ensuring the effective provision of a comprehensive managed temporary accommodation service; providing the main point of contact to applicants and suppliers, and ensure the temporary accommodation residents and providers comply with the terms of the respective agreement
  • The Housing Solutions Team will provide housing advice, homelessness casework and support households in temporary accommodation to rapidly move-on into PRS or other housing. The Housing Solutions Team will also work in partnership to proactively address tenancy issues, such as under/over/non occupation, rent arrears, ASB, hoarding, disrepair, etc and ensure that applicants comply with their agreement
  • The Housing Solutions Team will also manage the day-to-day relationship with temporary accommodation suppliers and contribute to the management of leases and contracts; ensuring that suppliers comply with the terms of the lease and that LBE is compliant with the agreement.
  • The Housing Solutions Team will also work in partnership to ensure that managed temporary accommodation is used efficiently and effectively and ensure that temporary accommodation is maintained and repaired to required standards

What you need:

  • QSW Status - including qualification, Social Work England registration and completed ASYE
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Right to work in the UK
